Today, growing in soil is far less productive due to the soil depletion caused by years of use. When chemicals are applied to the soil to prevent disease, full control over the application can't be achieved, which leads to enormous waste of inputs and drives production costs very high. Using containers and coconut substrates in hydroponics delivers “exponentially higher” yields. The #SoilFree system ensures precision nutrition, with fewer applications of water and fertilizer than those used in conventional agriculture.
The RMM Innovation Center is located in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, one of the most important agricultural hubs in the world. This project was conceived to drive the #SoilFree agrotech movement. We run different types of trials and AgTech setups, such as coconut substrates, substrate mixes, containers, pots, agrotextiles, and various structures for protecting blueberries, figs, and other crops.
Drawing on our hands-on experience as agricultural growers, we gather information and data to improve hydroponic technology. The DIDIHU® solutions in POTHU® & DIDIPOT® pots and FIBERMIX® substrate mixes are used around the world as a technology package that powers crops in hydroponics, horticulture, and nurseries, serving growers who seek true innovation and higher yields.
