I received samples of DIDIHU®’s line of containers for growing vegetables, trees, and shrubs under greenhouse or shade house conditions: the POTHU® and the DIDIPOT®. With a simple, very lightweight, and versatile design, both containers are ideal for fast growth and high production in closed and semi-closed intensive agricultural systems. The range of sizes, from 7 to 102 liters, accommodates a wide variety of crops. The design provides high aeration of the substrate and fast drainage of excess water, allowing oxygenation and healthy root growth. These containers, combined with a coconut fiber substrate and other organic components such as vermiculite and sand, guarantee high yields. The DIDIHU® package of container, substrate, and enrichment with mycorrhizae and bacteria, together with careful nutrient dosing, offers a technical and cost-effective solution for the use of water, substrates, and nutrients to maximize production.

DIDIHU® containers allow optimal placement in the greenhouse because they come in a wide variety of sizes, from 7 to 102 liters, which accommodates a wide range of crops and provides a spacing solution to achieve optimal yield per unit of greenhouse area. In short, POTHU® and DIDIPOT® offer a complete technology package of container, substrate, and biological soil components that adapts equally well to the needs of small growers in rural Mexico—focused on supplying local and regional needs—and to the requirements of large producers of vegetables, berries, and other high-value-added products.
